The global output value of lithium battery batteries reached
With the wide application and popularization of digital electronic products and new energy power products, the lithium-ion battery industry has achieved rapid development, and has formed a highly specialized and well-defined industrial chain system. After more than ten years of development, the global lithium-ion battery market has grown rapidly.
Statistics show that the global output value of lithium battery batteries reached 185 billion yuan in 2016, an increase of 17.8% compared with 2015. The global production value of lithium battery batteries is expected to reach 343.6 billion yuan by 2020.
In the past two years, the global 3C lithium battery market has become more and more mature, and the power lithium battery market has become the largest engine of rapid growth in the global lithium battery market. In terms of the regional market, China has become the most active area in the global lithium battery development.
Statistics show that global lithium battery output has increased by more than 25% annually since 2010, and global lithium battery shipments reached 115.4 GWH in 2016, an increase of 21.1% over the previous year. Global lithium battery shipments are expected to reach 265.7 GWH by 2020, 2.5 times that of 2016.
Statistics show that global lithium battery shipments reached 95.29 GWH in 2015, an increase of 33.5% over the previous year. Among them, the shipments of power batteries used in electric vehicles, tricycles, electric bicycles and unicycles reached 31.50 GWH, accounting for about 30% of the total shipments of lithium batteries. In 2016, the worldwide shipment of lithium batteries reached 115.38 GWH, of which 45.33 GWH for power lithium batteries accounted for 40%.
Among the three types of lithium battery batteries, the survey data show that in 2015, the output of soft-wrapped and square-shaped batteries is equal, and the shipment volume is about 36 GWH, which exceeds that of cylindrical batteries, while the demand of cylindrical batteries is 26.68 GWH, accounting for about 28%. With the development of new energy automobile market, the demand for square core will further expand in the future. In 2016, square core will occupy about 40% of the market.
